About Us

RSS Sports was created to appeal to the sports fan who do not want all the clutter of your everyday sports website. By eliminating all the fanc graphics and images the user is left with what they truely want: sports news. We provide that through self updating RSS feeds and an easy to use website.

Our website gets its content from Sports Illustrated RSS Feeds that update each time a new news story is published. Once the story is published it is posted into the feed and shows up in the browser through a refresh or reload of the page. Simply copying the URL from the Sports Illustrated feed will not supply the output into the browser however. In order to get the feed into the page we used RSS Feed Reader, a website that allows for customization of RSS feeds through Javascript.
